Miguel Altieri

Miguel Altieri is Professor of Agroecology at the University of California, Berkeley. His numerous books include Agroecology: The Science of Sustainable Agriculture and Biodiversity.

Richa Kumar

Richa Kumar is Associate Professor of Sociology and Policy Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. She is the author of Rethinking Revolutions: Soyabean, Choupals and the Changing Countryside in Central India.

Daniel Duhart

Daniel Duhart is a postdoctoral fellow at the Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano in Santiago, Chile. His research examines the discourse and practice of civilizational transition in Chile, and their resonances with alternative conceptions of intellectual life and civic society.

Kerilyn Schewel

Kerilyn Schewel is the Co-Director of the Duke Program on Climate-Related Migration and a Lecturing Fellow at the Duke Center for International Development. Her research examines the root causes of human migration and immobility, with a focus on themes of gender, youth, rural development, and climate change.
